It is the goal of Big Valley Christian School to encourage, support, and reinforce the family in the areas of church attendance, biblical standards of conduct, discipline, as well as honor and respect for parents. In addition, it is the school’s desire to assist and cooperate closely with parents in the academic and character development of the student.

One way to bring your child up in the life-long, Bible-based, Christ-centered process of kingdom education is to share your personal experiences of God’s faithfulness in your daily life.

What is something parents can do at home to support their child’s success in life and in school?

Because giving up wasn’t an option, over 100 staff members were able to keep working at BVCS. Over 500 families could keep on working at their jobs and running their businesses. Over 720 students could come to campus and learn with their teachers and peers. Giving up would have been easy, but it wouldn’t have been the best for children. Giving up simply wasn’t an option.

There was something else: a “feeling” that BVCS was the right fit for my family. I believe now, 18 years later, that the “feeling” I experienced, coupled with the great things I could see, make up “The Big Valley Difference.”

March 2020 was a pivotal time in Big Valley Christian School’s history. Our team to make a choice: we could put our heads down in fear and defeat or dust ourselves off, lift our heads high, follow the Lord’s plan and make this moment in history our finest hour.
