Big (Valley) Dreams!
Big Valley Christian School has impacted thousands of preschool through high school students and families over the past 45 years by providing an excellent Christ-centered education that prepares students for college, career and life. We are so grateful for the ways in which God has provided for our families and school to be able to open on campus, in-person in the middle of COVID. We could not have achieved this success without the support from partners like you! It’s time for BIG DREAMS at BVCS: campus modernization, growth and improvements across preschool through high school.
In a year that has had many ups and downs, we are excited to be able to offer a really great fun week to our community: our upcoming week-long Auction event will begin on Monday, March 8 and conclude with a Live Virtual Auction on Friday, March 12. Our fundraising efforts are needed to continue to support our school now and dream of bigger things to come in the future.
Due to the challenges we’ve faced during COVID, we are approaching our fundraising as creatively as we have our other endeavors this year. In the fall, our annual Jog-A-Thon was changed to an all school Do-A-Thon. We had over 200 service projects from school families that raised over $68,000 as they impacted the community for Christ. We also moved our Golf Tournament to Del Rio Country Club and changed the timing from a spring event to the fall. It was wonderful to spend a beautiful November day with over 100 people from the BVCS community. All our fundraising efforts go toward our IMPACT Fund which supports academics, staffing, innovation, athletic/theatre arts as well as tuition assistance.
Now, as we dream big for 2021 and beyond, we are anticipating an amazing Auction event! We will be having a virtual Text2Bid week-long silent auction.
Items can be viewed and bids take place all online.
Local “guests” will have the option to purchase meals at two local restaurants to pick-up and take home on Friday, March 12.
We have been able to offer sponsorship opportunities to support and promote local businesses.

We’ll wrap-up the week with the Live Virtual Auction on Friday, March 12. Many families are hosting their own small watch parties as they bid on the great items available.
We sincerely thank all who contributed to last year’s Auction event, which raised $48,000 for the BVCS IMPACT Fund. Every gift we receive helps us develop future leaders within the church, the community and beyond. We can’t wait to see how this year’s Auction will raise the needed funds to support our BIG DREAMS as we strive to nurture and equip students to impact the world for Christ.
