Let’s Build Community this Christmas!

In this week’s blog, we’re taking a different approach -  we’d like to extend an invitation. Actually, we’d like to extend several invitations! Since March 2020, we have noticed that families are eager to get together, so we have put together a few opportunities for you - and your friends, families, and neighbors - to get together as we approach Christmas:

Community Event #1: Bring your kids and join us this Saturday (12/4 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.) )on the BVCS football field for our Candy Cane Craft Fair. We will have over 90 vendors and 8 students vendors available. Get a jump on your Christmas shopping by shopping local and supporting BVCS Athletic Boosters!

Community Event #2: Here’s another great event for the whole family! You’ll want to be sure to attend Winter Wonderland in the Barn on Sunday, 12/5 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.. The cost is $10 per car and the proceeds go to our BVCS Global Reach class as they raise money for their June missions trip to the Dominican Republic. This event, taking place at Kickin’ Spurs Ranch (1631 Waterford Hwy, Waterford) will have a live nativity, items to bid on in a silent auction, shopping vendors, a snow pit, hay rides, picture opportunities, caroling, hot cocoa, and cookies and so much more!

Community Event #3: You will want to make sure to bring the kids to the free Christmas Festival on 12/11 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the ARC at BVCS. We will be having a cakewalk, face painting, games, cupcake decorating, prizes, and much more! Bring all the kids and family for an event with food, fellowship, games, and fun!
